Marcia Dvorak, Ph.D., Working for Youth, LLC.
A graduate of Quincy University in Illinois, Marcia has more than twenty years of experience in public education in as a teacher, coordinator of gifted education, and principal. After completing her Doctor of Philosophy in Curriculum and Teaching from the University of Kansas, Dr. Dvorak worked at the University of Kansas directing the Kansas Enrichment Network, a statewide organization focusing on afterschool and expanded learning opportunities. A high priority was promoting positive youth development and youth voice and choice. Dvorak has retired from the University of Kansas but remains passionate about all facets of education.
