Public television and cable media are a major but often underutilized resource. Participants will examine network partnerships forged with public television and cable media to disseminate messages and information, engage new partners and develop compelling collateral. State network media and cable partners will discuss how to approach local public television stations, cable or other media to establish a mutually beneficial partnership that can advance the conversation about afterschool and summer programs. The session will feature video clips and a Prezi platform used to illustrate Nebraska’s partnership, which other networks could replicate.
