Creating Alternative Learning Systems: The Building Blocks of Competency-Based Education

Log in to save this to your schedule and see who's attending!

In competency-based education, students master skills and content, they are engaged and they find learning challenging because they can learn at their own pace. As states focus on this reframing of learning, afterschool leaders must be at the table. Participants will explore the issue and the role that networks can play through the lens of three networks that have become engaged in their state discussions of competency-based credit.
