“Expanded Learning and Afterschool” can be a nuanced and challenging policy debate. Networks need to engage myriad constituencies to align for student success and advance afterschool and summer learning programs as an effective strategy. A high profile stakeholder summit can bring afterschool and expanded learning to the heart of the education reform discussion. Participants will learn from four states that held summits in 2012 and discuss the content, constituencies, organizing nuts and bolts and outcomes.
