To effectively shape policy, states need data for both continuous improvement and evaluative purposes. How can networks work with state agencies to revisit what is currently being collected and how data collection can be improved to reflect positive youth outcomes? The discussion will focus on performance indicators, the Profile and Performance Information Collection System (PPICS), what states are/can collect that goes beyond the annual performance report and how to use data for advocacy and communications, especially with policymakers.
