What do we need to know to connect to the current STEM policy window? Participants will consider the important issues in advancing federal and state policies to ensure that afterschool programs are an integral part of STEM education initiatives. Resource experts will share what Congress is working on now in STEM related bills and updates on the next generation science standards. Networks will have an opportunity to discuss their state policy issues and strategies with peers and resource experts.
